Frequently Asked Questions
Do your domains include existing trademarks?
No. It is not possible for DURANAME to apply for or trademark our premium domains, business names or logos. The trademark process requires that you must be able to identify the goods and/or services to which the mark will apply, clearly and precisely. And since our premium domains can be purchased by anyone and for many uses, it is not feasible to create a specific trademark in advance.
However, we do recommend doing your own research to determine whether anyone already claims trademark rights in a particular mark through a federal registration.
Is the sample logo included with my purchase?
We are happy to provide you with the original artwork and graphics file(s) for the sample logo that may include .jpg, .png, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator formats. Our premium domain and business name sample logos are provided to help you envision the potential of each brand.
How long does a domain transfer take?
DURANAME initiates the domain transfer process after payment has been received and cleared. Typically, the transfer can take between 1-8 business days depending on the registrars. Because all of our domains are currently registered through GoDaddy, DURANAME highly recommends using this same registrar to speed up and simplify the process as it only requires the domain to change accounts. By choosing a different registrar, you will be subject to an ICANN-mandated 5-day waiting period after DURANAME approves the transfer
What is a domain name registrar?
A domain name registrar is a service that allows you to officially register your desired website domain name so that it is unique to you, and no one else can own it. Domain name registrar companies or organizations are accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). ICANN is a private (non-government), non-profit corporation that has been given the responsibility of allocating IP addresses and managing the Domain Name System.
All domain names for sale on DURANAME have already been registered at GoDaddy. Upon purchasing one of our premium domain and business names, you must already have, or create an account at a registrar before we can transfer the domain name to you.
Because DURANAME uses GoDaddy, we highly recommend creating an account with them to simplify and speed up the purchasing and transfer process.
Who is your preferred domain name registrar?
All of DURANAME’s premium domain names are registered through GoDaddy. To simplify and complete the purchasing and domain transfer process as quickly as possible, we highly recommend creating a free account with GoDaddy.
What does my domain purchase include?
When you purchase a premium domain and business name from DURANAME, you become the new owner of the domain, which remains yours as long as you keep your registration current with your domain name registrar. Once a premium domain and business name has been purchased, there are no additional or recurring fees from DURANAME.
Your purchase includes the following:
- Premium domain name
- Brandable business name
- Logo – we are happy to provide you with the original artwork and graphics file(s) for the example logo that may include .jpg, .png, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator formats.
What forms of payment do you accept?
DURANAME utilizes the secure, online services of PayPal to accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as well as a fast and easy option to pay with your bank account. PayPal is a secure service that allows people to send money without sharing financial information with DURANAME, and provides the flexibility to pay using their account balances, bank accounts, or credit cards.
